Preserve the life, color, and texture of your hand-crafted Madhuu garments with proper care.
Handloom fabrics, especially Khadi, require a gentle touch. Unlike mill-made fabrics, they breathe and evolve with time. Treat them with care to ensure longevity.
We highly recommend gentle hand-washing for all our garments. Use cold water and a mild, natural detergent. Do not soak the fabric for extended periods.
For garments with intricate embroidery or delicate natural dyes, professional dry cleaning is recommended to preserve the detailed craftsmanship.
Never wring or twist handloom fabrics. Gently squeeze out excess water and dry flat in the shade. Direct sunlight can cause natural dyes to fade prematurely.
Iron on a medium setting while the fabric is still slightly damp, or use a steam iron. Always iron inside out to protect the surface texture and any embroidery.
Many of our garments are dyed using natural, plant-based colors. These dyes have a beautiful, earthy depth but can be sensitive to harsh chemicals.
Store your Madhuu garments in a cool, dry place. For long-term storage, wrap them in unbleached cotton or muslin fabric to allow them to breathe and protect them from moisture and insects.
